Thoughts on Inspiration

To be inspired is that refreshing feeling as your head bursts through the calm surface of the ocean water, somehow the chilling cold awakens every cell in your body, your hairs stand on end, your muscles feel stronger, your skin tighter, eyes wide open, your breath quickens, your brain surges with life, your heart beats more rapidly. Inspiration.

By definition, it is the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative. Or more simply (rather scientifically) ‘the drawing in of breath’ or ‘the act of breathing in.’

And sometimes that’s a hard enough challenge …

The action of simply drawing in breath is an act of divine love.
The choice to keep going, believing that things will get better.
That even though love is not present without, it still burns within.
It’s embers are kindled to flames in the furnace of your heart.
