Thoughts on The Ripple Effect

A ripple

The Ripple Effect.

When you throw a stone into a lake
There is a phenomenon that does exist
Waves are produced at the point of contact;
Spread out radially and persist.

They travel over the body’s surface
Like the gentle caress of a hand
Creating curves in the calmness
Til’ it feels the kiss of the land.

A single stone in a lake
produces the ripple effect,
In the same way,
you’ll never know whose life you’ll affect.

For it only takes a pebble,
to create waves that perpetrate,
The choice is yours; what to send
Will it be love or hate?
